Went here for the first time for my birthday. PERFECT CHOICE! We had three different savory waffles and one sweet waffle. Every one of them was scrumptious - like lick the plate clean delicious. The service was stellar and atmosphere really fun. We’ll be back!
The food was amazing! The staff were very friendly and the recommendations were spot on. We tried the limited time Dill Pickle waffle and it was so good. The only reason I gave 3 stars for atmosphere was because the tables and chairs are a little close so when it was busy, I was back to back with someone. Also the chairs were a little uncomfortable for me, but overall an amazing place!
Very good! I got a matcha waffle with strawberries and ice cream. They give you a little dinosaur toy on your food and it's so cute! The place is clean and bathroom is a well. Most food is available as gluten-free, and vegetarian friendly.
We had an awesome time at Sweet as Waffles. A perfect place for a sweet treat while visiting downtown. The nitro cold brew was great! The only issue we had was having to pick only two waffles. The whole menu looked great. We will be back!

Bellingham has more stuffy hipster cafes and generic cookie cutter diners that you can count but Bellingham also has this absolute GEM!!! Sweet as waffles is an oasis of originality, boldness and individuality in a desert of derivative "Denny's". This small shop with BIG personality is everything I like in a restaurant, daring flavor profiles, outlandish menu items and super friendly, down to earth staff. My wife had a "Canadian Quesadilla" imagine the best grilled cheese sandwich ever moved to their dream 2 bedroom waffle and finally got to decorate it with that "chic pesto cream cheese" style they love. Bokd but Balanced, rich but fresh, crispy, gooey, sweet savory "hit all the walls", "thank you sir, may I have another" unforgettable flavor. Real talk, just describing my experience makes me want to go order another one. If you ever in Bellingham, do yourself a favor you will always be grateful for, go visit the culinary kings and queens at "Sweet As Waffles" . You can thank yourself later.
Cozy spot with a delicious unexpected combination. Savory all the way! Although I will have to stop by and check out the sweet combinations too. Reasonably priced for quality and serving size. Great place to take a date or even take the kids for a treat.
I told my husband I wanted waffles for Mother’s Day dinner and let me tell you this place did not disappoint. The service was outstanding. I love the way the restaurant was decorated. My kids really enjoyed the bathroom setting and the music was great and did I mention the food was amazing... Our family of five that went all had something different and we all agreed it was phenomenal! If you happen to be downtown in Bellingham, I would recommend giving it a shot or at least getting something to go if you are too full from checking out other restaurants.
